Clam Harbour Beach is beautiful. I love how the parking lot is close and the walk to the beach isn't that far. There are life guards which make me feel safe. Unfortunately every time we visit, it's cold. In my picture it's foggy but the sun eventually did come out. However it still was cold, even though in town (Halifax) was really warm (28 degrees). This happens every time we visit.

By far the best beach I have ever been to. White sand, blue water, and waves to surf or swim in. Who needs to go south when you can go east coast!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Clam Harbour Provincial Park/Beach, and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. This gem on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia ranks among the best beaches in the province, and for good reason. The pristine shoreline, with its soft sands and picturesque views, is a paradise for beachgoers. But what sets Clam Harbour apart is the delightful lazy river that meanders through the heart of the beach. Tubing down this river was an exhilarating and relaxing adventure, providing a unique and refreshing way to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or float down the lazy river, Clam Harbour Provincial Park/Beach offers a diverse range of activities for visitors of all ages. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a memorable beach experience in Nova Scotia. While you're enjoying your time at Clam Harbour Provincial Park/Beach, don't forget to check out "Caught on Dashcam Nova Scotia" on Facebook for some amazing Nova Scotia video content. It's a great way to explore even more of the beauty and unique experiences that this remarkable province has to offer. Happy beachgoing and happy exploring!

This is a must see beach if you're in the HRM area. It's one of the warmest beach in Nova Scotia. Yearly Sand castle building competition is held here during August. Amazing white sand with no rocks and the waves are awesome for paddle boarding. Definitely will come back again! Btw; no showers here which is only the downside of majorities of Nova Scotia beaches.

Clam Harbour Beach is my favorite. When tide is getting low around 2.30pm, we can do a 2 miles hike following the north coast. It takes good hiking boots as it is rocky. The view is stunning!

I wish there where bathrooms by them self, a wash station would be nice to get the sand off of you and a place to bye water, pop, food etc.. would definitely be a wonderful thing. The beach itself was clean and the water was fantastic. My question, is there a drop off at this beach it feels like u can walk for every. But great beach to take your kids to for sure!

Obsessed with the beach! Worth the drive if you’re coming in from the city. So spacious with beautiful views & safe swimming along the whole beach. Take the coastal trail hike to the left of the beach, it’s about 30 minutes to the end and has breathtaking views & walkable rugged coastline the whole way!

This beach is perfect for those trying to learn surfing or who enjoy small consistent waves. The water was 16 mid August and the beach is massive. Two big parking lots and the road in isn’t to beat up. Wheel chair access. The bathrooms are under renovations so they’ll have more and better as they finish the construction.
